This unique collection brings together over 200 letters received by Vetu\u021ba Pop, literary secretary at the State Theatre in Oradea, over several decades of activity.<\/strong> A figure universally respected in Romanian theatre circles, Vetu\u021ba Pop maintained a steady, often intimate correspondence with some of the most important playwrights, directors, actors, translators, and literary secretaries of the time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The letters reflect not only the everyday working mechanisms of a theatre institution during the communist and post-communist periods, but also the complex cultural, artistic, and human relationships that animated Romanian theatrical life in the second half of the 20th century.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ranging from professional exchanges to personal confessions, the collection offers a rare perspective on the backstage dynamics of repertoire building, text selection, translation processes, and creative collaborations. At the same time, it captures the tone, style, and concerns of an intellectual community navigating between artistic integrity, censorship, and transformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aceast\u0103 colec\u021bie unic\u0103 reune\u0219te peste 200 de scrisori primite de Vetu\u021ba Pop<\/strong>, secretar literar la Teatrul de Stat din Oradea, de-a lungul mai multor decenii de activitate. Figur\u0103 unanim respectat\u0103 \u00een cercurile teatrale din Rom\u00e2nia, Vetu\u021ba Pop a \u00eentre\u021binut o coresponden\u021b\u0103 constant\u0103, adesea intim\u0103, cu unii dintre cei mai importan\u021bi dramaturgi, regizori, actori, traduc\u0103tori \u0219i secretari literari ai vremii.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Documentele au fost donate direct laboratorului chiar de c\u0103tre Vetu\u021ba Pop, ca gest de generozitate \u0219i responsabilitate fa\u021b\u0103 de istoria teatrului rom\u00e2nesc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scrisorile reflect\u0103 nu doar mecanismele de lucru cotidiene ale unei institu\u021bii teatrale \u00een perioada comunist\u0103 \u0219i postcomunist\u0103, ci \u0219i rela\u021biile culturale, artistice \u0219i umane complexe care animau via\u021ba teatral\u0103 rom\u00e2neasc\u0103 \u00een a doua jum\u0103tate a secolului XX.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
